1 Food Processor (for blending ingredients)
1 Mixing bowl (for combining the spread)
- 1 grouse breast cooked and shredded
- 4 oz cream cheese softened
- 2 oz blue cheese or sharp cheddar crumbled
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
- 1 tbsp lemon juice

Cook the grouse breast in a saucepan with butter until fully cooked and tender. Shred into small pieces.
In a food processor, blend the cooked grouse, cream cheese, blue cheese, and garlic until smooth.
Add Worcestershire sauce, black pepper, smoked paprika, and lemon juice, blending again until well combined.
Transfer to a mixing bowl and fold in chopped parsley.
Let the spread rest in the fridge for 10 minutes to enhance the flavors.
Serve chilled with crackers or toasted bread.
📌For a milder flavor, substitute blue cheese with sharp cheddar.
📌Serve with honey drizzle for a sweet contrast.
📌Pairs well with red wine or a dark ale.
