Ingredients
  

  • 12 oz fresh cranberries
  • 1 medium orange with peel, seeds removed
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar adjust to taste
  • 1 small apple cored and chopped
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts optional
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon optional

Instructions
 

  • Rinse the cranberries and drain well.
  • Cut the orange into chunks (keep the peel on) and remove any seeds.
  • In a food processor, pulse the cranberries, orange, and apple until finely chopped.
  • Add sugar and mix well. Adjust sweetness as needed.
  • Stir in chopped walnuts and cinnamon if using.
  • Transfer the relish to a bowl and let it chill for at least 30 minutes before serving.
  • Serve cold as a side dish or topping for meats and desserts.
