- 12 oz fresh cranberries
- 1 medium orange with peel, seeds removed
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar adjust to taste
- 1 small apple cored and chopped
- 1/4 cup chopped walnuts optional
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon optional
Rinse the cranberries and drain well.
Cut the orange into chunks (keep the peel on) and remove any seeds.
In a food processor, pulse the cranberries, orange, and apple until finely chopped.
Add sugar and mix well. Adjust sweetness as needed.
Stir in chopped walnuts and cinnamon if using.
Transfer the relish to a bowl and let it chill for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Serve cold as a side dish or topping for meats and desserts.
